Μητροπολίτου Ναυπάκτου και Αγίου Βλασίου Ιεροθέου Στις ημέρες μας γίνεται πολύς λόγος για την εκκλησιολογία, δηλαδή για το τί είναι Εκκλησία, ποιά είναι τα μέλη της Εκκλησίας, σε αναφορά με την σχέση μεταξύ της Ορθοδόξου Εκκλησίας και των ετεροδόξων, καθώς επίσης γίνεται πολύς λόγος για την λεγομένη Βαπτισματική θεολογία, που ερευνά το Βάπτισμα των ορθοδόξων και των ετεροδόξων για να βρεθούν τα κοινά σημεία μεταξύ τους. </p><p>Τα θέματα αυτά συσχετίζονται μεταξύ τους, γιατί οι οικουμενιστές προσπαθούν να προσδιορίσουν την ενότητα μεταξύ του Χριστιανισμού μέσα από την προοπτική της Βαπτισματικής θεολογίας, που σημαίνει ότι θέτουν ως βάση της ενότητας της Εκκλησίας το Βάπτισμα και ουσιαστικά αυτό είναι «η αρχή της περιεκτικότητας», γιατί προσπαθούν να δουν τα κοινά σημεία της ενότητας μεταξύ των Ομολογιών. Μέ αυτόν τον τρόπο δεν θέτουν ως βάση της ενότητας της Εκκλησίας την πίστη συνδυασμένη με τα Μυστήρια, αλλά θέτουν ως βάση το Βάπτισμα, το οποίο αποδεσμεύουν από την αποκεκαλυμμένη πίστη και από τα άλλα Μυστήρια, ιδιαίτερα το Μυστήριο της θείας Ευχαριστίας.</p><p>Για τα δύο αυτά θέματα, ήτοι την εκκλησιολογία και την Βαπτισματική θεολογία, έγινε συζήτηση στην Β` Βατικανή Σύνοδο (1962-1965) και ελήφθησαν αποφάσεις που αποτελούν την νέα εκκλησιολογική θέση των «Ρωμαιοκαθολικών» με την έκδοση δύο διαταγμάτων, το ένα περί Εκκλησίας και το άλλο περί Οικουμενισμού. Μέ αυτά τα διατάγματα-αποφάσεις υποστηρίζεται ότι υπάρχουν Μυστήρια και εκτός των ορίων της Εκκλησίας τους.</p><p>Το περίεργο, όμως, είναι ότι υπάρχουν ορθόδοξοι θεολόγοι, οι οποίοι εμπνέονται από τις αποφάσεις της Β` Βατικανής Συνόδου και θεωρούν ότι η Σύνοδος αυτή επέστρεψε στις πηγές της πίστεως, αλλά και υποστηρίζουν ότι, και από πλευράς ορθοδόξου θεολογίας, υφίστανται Μυστήρια και εκτός της Ορθοδόξου Εκκλησίας. Όμως, και τα δύο αυτά ζητήματα είναι εκτροπή από την ορθόδοξη πίστη και την θεολογία των Πατέρων της Εκκλησίας και όλης της εκκλησιαστικής συνειδήσεως, όπως εκφράσθηκε δια μέσου των αιώνων.</p><p>Πρόσφατα εκδόθηκε μια σημαντική διατριβή με τίτλο "Η εκκλησιολογική αναθεώρηση της Β` Βατικανής Συνόδου, μία ορθόδοξη διερεύνηση του Βαπτίσματος και της Εκκλησίας κατά το Διάταγμα περί Οικουμενισμού". Η διατριβή αυτή εκπονήθηκε από τον Πρωτοπρεσβύτερο π. Πέτρο Χίρς, κατατέθηκε στην Θεολογική Σχολή Θεσσαλονίκης και υποστηρίχθηκε από τον καθηγητή Δημήτριο Τσελεγγίδη.
